HPPGLAS Specialty Fabrics
KCF PTFE Coated KEVLAR® Fabrics are high-strength, lightweightmaterials suitablefor many applications, including belting, release sheets, gasketing, aerospace, etc.The PTFE coating provides exceptional release properties andresistance to chemical attack. The use of KEVLAR® yarns provides the highstrength basis to these composites. Additionally, KEVLAR® fabrics offer superior flex fatigue resistance and are virtually unaffected by moist steamenvironments.
The Anti-Static (AS) versions of these products are black in color (providing protection from UV damage, to which KEVLAR® fabrics are susceptible) andutilize a specialized coating to aid in static dissipation. Resistivity of theAS versions is less than 106 ohms/square.
KCFproducts are PTFE coated Kevlar® fabrics, which are high temperature Aramid fibers that offer an extremely high strength to weight ratio. KCF is an excellent fabric for use in high moisture environments, applications subjected to severe flexing, or when added durability is required.
